Who's who

Transplants in Mind consists of a Board of Trustees representing all aspects of donation and transplantation, who determine the strategic direction of the charity.

STAFF

Transplants in Mind has three permanent members of staff.

Colin Day Colin Day IPFA BSc

Colin was appointed as Chief Officer (part-time) on 1 December 2005. Colin previously worked as Head of Finance at UK Transplant and so has a strong background in both finance and transplantation.

“I believe that life is precious and every minute should be lived to the full. Life is so fragile and could end when you least expect it, without any warning or fault of your own. I signed up to the NHS Organ Donor Register at a young age, and if the worst should happen, I know that my family will do the right thing and donate my organs to save or improve the lives of those currently unable to live their lives to the full.”
