Vitamins for or Against?

There are so many vitamins available to choose from health food stores and supermarkets now. Many people rely on their daily handful of vitamins and they truly believe that they make them much healthier and provide a dose of whatever essentials they are lacking from their daily diet.

They either tend to be one of two types, those who are already very healthy and take exercise and health checkups on a regular basis and visit their Richmond Hill Dental surgery every six months; and those whose diet is sadly lacking in fresh healthy food, take little exercise and rely on the vitamins as a last resort.

There are other types of people who simply do not believe in vitamins and they firmly are of the opinion that you should be able to get everything you need from a balanced diet. Again these fall into two camps.

There are those who watch carefully what they eat and make sure that they have enough of every type of vital vitamin from the food that they eat; and those who just do not care and eat poorly.

Whether you take vitamins or not, it is so important that you have a balanced diet with plenty of fresh fruit and veg and lots of fibre, but not too much of the salt, fat or alcohol.
